Lisbon shopping centres have everything you need

Lisbon is a great destination for shopping, it is full of shopping centres, mostly large ones. Colombo Shopping centre is the largest of all Lisbon shopping centres and its diversity and quantity of shops surely do not disappoint. El Corte Inglés is also a great option, especially if you are looking for luxury brands. Amoreiras Shopping centre, located in a prime area of the city is also an excellent option.

Centro Comercial Colombo

It is one of the largest shopping centres in Europe, with more than 340 shops, and a common meeting spot for locals. Its decoration invokes the Portuguese Discoveries and it is a must visit for those who come to Lisbon. In Colombo Shopping centre, you will find stores like Fnac, Sephora, MAC Cosmetics, Disney Store, Rolex, Michael Kors, Longchamp, among many others. In this space, there are more than 60 restaurants, cinemas with an IMAX room and recreational areas where you can play bowling.

Armazéns do Chiado

Armazéns do Chiado shopping mall is located in the historic centre of Lisbon, occupying the former Chiado department store, destroyed in the fire of 1988. The Armazéns do Chiado are one of the most sought-after shopping centres in the city. It has 55 stores, and the most sought-after are FNAC and Starbucks coffee shop. Its restaurant area has an incredible view of Lisbon.

El Corte Inglés

These famous Spanish department stores are the ideal destination for those who prefer to shop for everything, including food, in one place, as it houses some of the best-known brands. El Corte Inglés is located in the centre of Lisbon, next to Eduardo VII Park, within easy reach from anywhere in the city. It includes a range of very diverse products, from luxury fashion brands to beauty products, accessories, jewelry, decoration, technology, sports, toys, books, and food. This space also features unique services, such as sending your shopping bags to the hotel, personal shopper and a card with a 10% discount to non-resident tourists.

Amoreiras Shopping centre

It was one of the first of Lisbon's shopping centres and it opened in 1985. It remains a locals favourite. The Amoreiras is located in a noble and central area of the city and has more than two hundred stores, spread over two floors in different areas: fashion, beauty, jewellery, communication and information services. It also has a cinema and a restaurant area with a wide variety of restaurants, as well as a viewpoint on top, which opened in 2016.

Vasco da Gama Shopping centre

You should also visit Vasco da Gama Shopping centre, in Parque das Nações. This futuristic looking shopping centre has plenty of shops and restaurants for you to choose from. It's accessible by underground (Oriente station) and it is very close to other famous attractions such as Altice Arena, Vasco da Gama panoramic tower, Pavillion of Portugal and much more.

Tivoli Forum

Tivoli Forum in Avenida da Liberdade is a wholly different story. This shopping centre, located in one of the most prestigious avenues in Lisbon is home to brands such as Gucci, Adolfo Dominguez or Fashion Clinic. Here, you can also try the famous Ladurée French macaroons. There's also a food court with many restaurants that are ideal for a lunch or afternoon break.
