Aqualand Is One of The Biggest Waterparks in Portugal
The Aqualand Algarve opens its doors already on June 12
The Aqualand Algarve is one of the largest water parks in Portugal and is located in Alcantarilha, between Albufeira and Portimão. This is the perfect place to spend an unforgettable day with your family. It is an area of pure aquatic fun during the day, with multiple slides and pools, ideal for kids and adults, designed so that the whole family can have fun.
In 2016, the Aqualand Algarve, which changed its name in 2001 when it was acquired by Aspro, celebrated its 30 years of existence. Over the last four years, Aqualand has invested heavily in the renovation of its equipment, specifically in Branded Tracks, Flying Rugs and Infant Paradise, as well as invested in the complete renovation of two children's pools.
This water park now has more water castles, towers with slides and various other amusements. The wave pool has also been totally renovated and there is now a jacuzzi area. However, the largest and most recent investment was made with the installation of Hydra, a unique amusement in Portugal, consisting of three slides, two in a closed tube. Can be used with single or double float.
Aqualand Algarve amusement areas:
Adrenalina Fun
This is an area indicated for the most fearless, with the most radical amusements, such as Crazy Jump, Rapids and Kamikaze.
Family Fun
A semi Olympic swimming pool and Surf Beach, swimming pool with beach and ocean waves, are two of the attractions on the Family Fun zone.
Kidzworld
Two fully renovated children's pools with multiple runways in castles, fountains, slides and small slopes, all in shallow water so the little ones can walk.
Chill Out e Play
The Congo River is an attraction to relax after a lot of adrenaline. Over 270 meters, sit on a float and let yourself go and regain energy for the next fun.
